What is Nutritional Therapy?

When it comes to nutrition and health, there is never a one-size-fits-all approach that is optimal for everyone. We are all unique bio-individuals and what is optimal for you may not be optimal for someone else. Nutritional therapy is always tailored to each individual’s needs, lifestyle, activity level, stress level, ancestry, etc.

As a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I know and understand the body's ability to heal itself. We are trained to evaluate a client’s nutritional needs and make individual recommendations and provide follow-up support for dietary changes, lifestyle choices and nutritional supplementation.

 

The role of a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner is to guide and coach their clients on their health journey and establish short term and long term goals. Once these goals are met you should feel your healthiest self, be able to take on anything and most importantly have the proper tools to navigate through health, food and lifestyle choices on your own!

The Process

Together, we will find the answers.

Before We Meet

Once we have scheduled your Initial Consultation, I will send you a questionnaire to answer (this will take 20 minutes) and a Food & Mood journal to fill out over 3 days. This is to return to me 24 hours before our consultation.

Initial Consultation

This 90 minute consultation consists of going over your background, understanding your lifestyle and food habits and understanding your symptoms. We will unveil any organ weaknesses and system unbalances for then to address the weaknesses through personalized nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle changes.

Recommendations

After our consultation, I will send detailed recommendations including diet changes, lifestyle changes and supplementation according to your bio-individual needs. For optimal success, these are to be followed for 3 - 6 months according to your situation and health status. Which is why I recommend booking a 3-month coaching package. 

Follow-up Consultation

This 60 minute consultation has a similar format to the initial consultation in regard to the Questionnaire and the Food & Mood journal to fill out. We will evaluate the progress you have made and make the necessary changes. We will address your short term goals we established in the Initial Consultation, establish new ones and work towards your long term goals.
